After having been responsible for the construction of EY’s office in Lisbon, Vector Mais has now delivered the new workspace of the Big Four consultancy in Porto. Located in the Icon Tower building, the project reflects EY Portugal’s strategy, based on environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and a contemporary approach, prioritising flexibility and efficiency in the workplace.
With capacity for more than 400 employees, the office spans three floors and offers a wide variety of environments designed for working, collaborating, and socialising. Inspired by the identity of Porto and by 360º panoramic views over the city, the river, and the sea, the space adopts a people-centred architecture, conceived to enhance productivity, creativity, and work–life balance.
The new office integrates collaborative areas and individual focus spaces, formal and informal meeting rooms, client reception areas, as well as social and dining spaces that promote interaction, well-being, and relationship building.
Designed by the architectural practice Broadway Malyan, the project was executed with particular attention to construction precision, quality of finishes, and the integration of advanced technological solutions in acoustics, lighting, and connectivity, contributing to a functional, comfortable, and efficient working environment. In a true journey through Porto, the architectural solutions and bespoke carpentry play a central role, evoking the history and energy of the city through a carefully curated selection of colours, textures, and materials.
