Belleville Chair
Inspired by the chairs of the Parisian bistro in the Belleville neighbourhood, where designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have their studio, this piece from Vitra captures the spirit of the French capital and this vibrant quartier. Despite the references to these typical French restaurants, Belleville is a multifaceted chair, which adapts to the most varied spaces and uses, such as IQVIA or KPMG cafeterias, both equipped by Vector Mais.
Through its familiar shape, the chair evokes a sense of mystery and poetry, as the materiality and construction of the chair only become evident at a second glance, highlighting its organic and elegant shape. Having a polyamide structure, the chair can have three types of seating, being easily adapted to outdoor spaces, restaurants, offices or hotels.
With the polypropylene seat, Belleville is the perfect chair for a terrace or space with a lot of circulation (like a restaurant or cafeteria), while the wooden or upholstered (in fabric or leather) versions belong to spaces where extra comfort is essential.
