The Furniture of EML
Furniture plays a fundamental role in EML's office.
In the EML project at Lagoas Park, furniture plays a crucial role in defining the various areas and creating a welcoming, functional, and inspiring work environment. Supplied by Vector Mais, which also built the space designed by CBRE, the furniture complements the architecture with a palette of neutral tones, wood, and terracotta. Tactile materials were essential in adding personality to the project and enhancing the overall sense of comfort.
Teresa Pereira Monteiro, an architect at CBRE, explains the development of the project:
"The most significant elements in the project, which also served as the foundation for its development, were the use of earthy tones, wood finishes, and organic shapes throughout the space. These concepts guided the design consistently. This is evident in the flooring and carpentry, the form and height of the ceilings, the material palette used throughout the office, and the selection of furniture. This cohesive design approach extends across the 550 m² space, creating a unique identity."
