Vector Mais in Venice with Fantin

Vector Mais recently supplied the Frame shelving system by Fantin for one of its most significant office projects in Lisbon. Beyond selecting high-quality solutions, we believe in the importance of staying close to the brands we represent—understanding their processes, their people, and the culture behind each product.

It was in this context that our furniture manager, Ana Teixeira, accepted Fantin’s invitation to take part in an immersive experience that proved to be deeply inspiring. This was an opportunity for sharing and vision. Professionals from across Europe came together to gain a closer understanding of the brand, exploring its production processes, materials, and the techniques that bring each piece to life—an environment where design, engineering, and identity intersect authentically.

The experience was marked by the constant presence of Sandro Fantin, CEO and representative of the founding family’s second generation, whose proximity reinforced the open and collaborative spirit that defines the brand. Throughout the visit, there was also the opportunity to hear from designer Giulio Iacchetti, whose collaboration has contributed to some of Fantin’s most innovative solutions, as well as to follow the work of Salvatore Indriolo, responsible for the brand’s creative direction and aesthetic identity. At the Fondazione Angelo Masieri, the group was invited to actively participate in reflecting on Fantin’s future—a rare moment of dialogue where ideas and perspectives were openly shared, reinforcing the brand’s collaborative dimension.

Among the most memorable moments was the visit to Officina Zanon, where one of its charismatic owners, Francesco Zanon, spoke about his work with metal and collaborations with the legendary Carlo Scarpa. The journey continued to the island of Murano, where it was possible to discover the work developed by the Berengo Studio and the artists it hosts. Among them was artist Arne Quinze, seen working on a new project, alongside other large-scale creations, including a nine-meter lighting prototype.

The visit concluded at Casa della Sensa, a space where each piece is carefully selected to create unique environments, integrating various Fantin solutions—from shelving systems to kitchens and modular designs. This was a journey of inspiration, exchange, and discovery, reinforcing Vector Mais’ commitment to working with partners who value innovation, attention to detail, and people.
