Located in the Tivoli Fórum building on Avenida da Liberdade, one of the floors of Vanguard Properties’ headquarters was recently renovated by Vector Mais, bringing to life a project by architect Rita Pinto Ribeiro. Just like the developer’s real estate projects, the office was designed with great attention to detail.
This is evident in all the materials and design features: from the entrance, where a padded wall with a ‘V’ pattern greets visitors, to the carpentry, wallpapers, metal and stone screens, lighting, and architectural details.
Every area of the office was designed to create an intimate atmosphere, offering versatile spaces for work, meetings, and socializing.

What is the significance of your office renovation? What objectives did you set out to achieve?
The renovation of our office represented far more than a mere aesthetic enhancement; it was a strategic opportunity to align the physical workspace with our organizational culture and evolving work models. Our objective was to design an environment that fosters collaboration, flexibility, and well-being, while also reflecting the company’s values and the way we operate today. We envisioned a space that is inspiring, functional, and adaptable—capable of addressing the requirements of hybrid teams and of promoting both creativity and productivity.

What was the briefing for the project, and how was it translated into the space?
Vanguard Properties’ new Lisbon office was designed to accommodate the Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Art, and VG Stars teams, responding to their specific needs for work and interaction. The program includes a reception with a lobby foyer and an institutional area for clients, three meeting rooms (for 12 and 4 people), a dedicated HR room with additional meeting space, an open-space area with 16 workstations, focus rooms, a pantry, and restrooms. The project’s core concept draws inspiration from the chic, eclectic, and contemporary spirit of the Vanguard brand, reflecting its identity and values. Flow in design and user comfort are fundamental pillars in defining spaces, fostering environments that are both functional and welcoming.
