BIO Thermopolymer: Sustainability in Office Furniture
Vector Mais, holder of ISO 14001 certification, integrates sustainability as a core principle of its activity. Therefore, the selection of its suppliers is fundamental to maintaining this commitment. Andreu World, one of the furniture brands featured in several Vector Mais projects, has for many years strengthened its commitment to sustainability as a central pillar of its design strategy.
In line with this vision, the Spanish brand introduces two new collections designed by Patricia Urquiola, developed according to the principles of the circular economy and responsible innovation:
Bolete Collection – Modular chairs and lounge chairs that allow multiple configurations, designed for flexible environments and a logic of circularity and continuous adaptation.
Nuez Lounge Chair – High-back lounge chair with upholstered seat and backrest, four-spoke swivel aluminium base with return mechanism, available in different finishes.

In both proposals, Patricia Urquiola uses BIO® thermopolymer, a bio-based material developed according to high standards of sustainability and design. Certified with the TÜV Austria OK BIOBASED 4-star label, it represents the highest level of bio-based content.
Nuez Lounge Chair
This material is produced through fermentation processes involving microorganisms, to which natural components and plant-based additives are incorporated, reinforcing the commitment to innovative and responsible product development. Strengthening this vision, Andreu World has become a B Corp company, achieving a score of 103.7 in the B Corp Impact Assessment, which recognises its leadership in sustainability practices, social responsibility and positive impact.
