The WellBe building, which houses the new headquarters of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), has been awarded the Sustainability Award at the 2026 Construir Awards. Vector Mais contributed to the project by delivering the interior fit-out, helping bring the workspaces of CGD’s new headquarters to life. The project required close coordination between different specialist trades and teams, as part of a partnership with HCI, Alves Ribeiro and Afavias.
The interior design, developed by Openbook, and the building’s architecture, designed by Saraiva + Associados, combine functionality, spatial quality and technical rigour in a large-scale development conceived to meet the needs of an organisation with approximately 2,500 employees.
In terms of sustainability, WellBe has achieved BREEAM Excellent and Maison Passive Classique certifications, recognising the building’s energy performance. The LEED and WELL certification processes are also in the final stages of submission. These distinctions underscore the importance of the solutions implemented and the work carried out by the various teams involved.
