Offices designed with people in mind

Despite the apparent differences, all great workspaces have one thing in common, they put people first, increasing employee satisfaction and, of course, productivity. In this sense, the focus of each office project should be on creating quality workspaces, where common and relaxation areas also play an important role.

In recent years, Vector Mais has built some of the best offices in Portugal, where there has been a great effort in developing human spaces, where well-being is always first. Here are three examples:

Deloitte Hub, Lisbon

An office thought like a city

Developed by Openbook, the Deloitte Hub project was designed to function as a city and its communicating neighborhoods. In an office full of natural light, the work and meeting spaces are functional and airy, while the creative areas and cafeteria allow the consultancy company’s team to relax and interact informally.

Highlights:

  • The use of materials like Burel wool fabric gives a Portuguese touch and benefits the general acoustics of the space.

  • Vitra chairs are essential for creating a comfortable office.

  • The distribution of the spaces has been carefully thought out, allowing each floor to have work, collaboration and relax areas.

OLX, Lisbon

A project inspired by Lisbon

The team at Pedra Silva Arquitectos was inspired by the city of Lisbon to create the headquarters of OLX Group in Lisbon. Through a color palette alluding to Portugal and typical local materials such as the ceramic tiles or the Burel wool fabric, the architects created a bright, comfortable and inspiring environment for the employees of the multinational company.

Highlights:

  • The existence of many concentration and collaboration rooms, allows employees to isolate themselves to work when necessary.

  • From the main cafeteria to the smaller ones located in each sector, the layout of the space promotes interaction between employees.

  • The choice of materials and colors brought visual, tactile and acoustic comfort, increasing the well-being of employees.
