Platero: movement and flexibility in the workplace

In a workplace designed for different ways of working, learning and collaborating, furniture plays an important role in shaping how spaces are experienced. At Cegoc’s new Lisbon office, the selection of furniture combines comfort, functionality and different possibilities of use.

Among the solutions supplied by Vector Mais is Platero, by esPattio, a piece that combines a pouf with a side table, bringing a more relaxed and dynamic approach to the workspace. Designed by Dsignio, Platero stands out for its rocking base, adding movement to the piece and allowing different ways of using it.

At Cegoc, Platero is part of a broader strategy to create different environments within the same office. Developed by CBRE and built by Vector Mais, the project reorganised approximately 1.000 m² to accommodate training areas, open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms, phone booths and collaborative areas.

O Platero na Cegoc

In this context, furniture helps define the identity and use of each space. Platero is a good example of this approach: a distinctive piece that brings comfort, informality and movement to a contemporary workplace. Vector Mais was responsible for the construction of the new space and the full furniture supply, coordinating different brands and solutions to create distinct yet cohesive environments.

“Platero takes us back to childhood, to moments full of creativity and fun. We have brought these memories together to give shape to a new seating concept. We want to encourage a positive work environment by creating dynamic, creative and vibrant spaces where ideas and imagination flow. Its curved base allows us to swing and change position easily. It has a table where we can write, use the laptop, the tablet... but the most important thing is not what it allows us to do, but how we feel when we use it.”
